Yusen Logistics has opened two new pharmaceutical warehouses in Benelux, an economic union comprising three neighbouring states, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The company has opened Antwerp healthcare center in Melsele of Belgium, and Roosendaal healthcare center in Roosendaal of Netherlands.Located next to the existing Yusen Logistics Antwerp Distribution Center (ADC), the new advanced Antwerp healthcare center features an ambient storage facility with 15°C to 25°C and holds a capacity to accommodate around 10,000 pallets.
The GDP certified facility also includes cold store section with 2°C to 8°C and holds a capacity to accommodate more than 4,000 pallets.
Situated in the Borchwerf II industrial area, the Roosendaal healthcare center has been developed to meet the increasing demand for quality logistics solutions from pharmaceutical industry sector and manufacturers in the Netherlands.
Yusen said the additional 20,000m² of GDP-certified warehouse is a significant expansion to the services that the firm offers in the Netherlands and Belgium to the pharmaceutical sector
